May 27, 2025

Corine Mack sent in material about the July 12-16 NAACP Convention in Charlotte. The material, added to this website here, includes day-by-day schedules of activities.

Steve Johnston thanks the Announcements’ regular readers for their patience during a 13-month period when weekly postings became intermittent due to cancer treatment (successful), move to an old-folks home (successful) and preparation of a house for sale (successful). A return to the weekly schedule will now be attempted. But a young volunteer willing to take over this 10-20 hour weekly task that dates back to 2004 might ensure greater reliability going forward. More here.
