The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Emergency Management Office has issued a Stay-at-Home order for County residents beginning 8 a.m., March 26 for 21 days, through April 16. County information here. Observer story here.
The Forum did not meet today. In-person meetings at the Belmont Center are suspended until further notice during the current coronavirus pandemic. Facilitators will review the situation March 31.

Richard McElrath, longtime Forum participant, former CMS math teacher and District 2 representative on the CMS Board of Education, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020. A gathering of family with friends will be Wednesday, March 25 from 10 a.m.-noon at A.E. Grier & Sons Funeral and Cremation, 2310 Statesville Ave. A celebration of life service follows at noon.
