Laura McClettie announced that the Forum would celebrate Sarah Stevenson’s birthday on Tuesday, Oct. 25 following the morning’s Forum, at 700 Parkwood Ave. Refreshments available. Bring a card of your well-wishes that Sarah can savor after the event.

Upcoming Deadlines

Oct. 28: Deadline 5 p.m. to apply for Wells Fargo-sponsored “no-repayment funding opportunity for diverse small business owners to purchase capital assets.” Grants range from $5,000-$25,000. Applications here.

Oct. 31: The City of Charlotte is surveying residents “to understand Charlotte-Mecklenburg residents’ attitudes towards cultural activities and how they value culture in their lives….” Online survey is here.
