VOTING continues through June 24 on “Participatory Budgeting Program” proposals for one-time county investments in programs, parks and other facilities identified by volunteers in each county district. The lists of projects alone are a fascinating journey through how perceived needs vary by district. The program calls for spending up to $500,000 per district on the projects gaining the most votes.
