Mary Belk announced that N.C. legislative Democrats sponsored a clean Medicaid expansion bill.

Carlenia Ivory announced that NBA Legends would speak to CMS students Thursday, Feb. 14, at 8 a.m. at Butler High; Friday, Feb. 15 at 8 a.m. at West Mecklenburg High; Friday at 10 a.m. at Harding High; and Friday at 11:30 a.m. at West Charlotte. The public is welcome.

Nakisa Glover announced that applications are available for the free seven-week Girls Who Code summer immersion program for 10th-11th graders. Stipend of up to $1,400, plus lunch. Deadlines Feb. 15 and March 15.
