Carlenia Ivory suggested that businesses begin soon to become certified for participation in the 2020 GOP Convention. “You don’t have to like people to take advantage of opportunities that are coming into the city.”

Carlenia Ivory asked people to advocate with City Council members that a proposed amateur sports facility be constructed on the west side of the city. She said the project would create 400 full-time jobs and thousands of seasonal part-time jobs.
