District 2 City Council member Malcolm Graham and city Corridors of Opportunity Project Manager Cherie Smith delved into timelines for improvements along the Beatties Ford Road corridor, along with a myriad of current and upcoming development projects involving the public or private sectors. There were, to put it mildly, a lot of questions. Some of the knottiest ones dealt with whether there were ways to ensure that corridor residents with trade skills would be employed as contractors build tomorrow’s corridor.
