Officials from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools opened the Forum with time for participants to fill out a survey on pupil assignment issues. Deadline for the surveys was noon.

As participants worked on their survey papers, Assistant Superintendent Akeshia Craven-Howell offered an explanation of the board’s assignment journey, including the current phase that inspects home-school boundaries.

The CMS presentation begins at minute 3:51 and ends at 18:40. There were no questions.

The rest of the video below involves a presentation and Q&A with CIAA Commissioner Jacquie McWilliams.
