Helping a friend: Training available to spot mental health issues

Three staff members outlined training and education offerings available from Mental Health America of Central Carolinas.

The group handed out three brochures: “The MHA: your Source for Mental Health Education,” “Parent Voice Program” and “Compeer Program.”

Mental Health America of Central Carolinas is the former Mental Health Association.

The group hosts monthly one-hour coffees at its offices at 3703 Latrobe Drive, Suite 220. The next coffee is Wednesday, June 17 at 9:30 a.m. A flier is here. The group’s website is here.
