FAA reportedly reducing noise impact zone around airport

After City Council member announced that FAA staff would hold workshops tonight and Wednesday near the airport to take citizen comment about noise issues, council member LaWana announced that news back from the FAA was that  noise abatement areas would be reduced, not enlarged, on account of quieter aircraft. The comments made are in the video below. They are clearly not the last word on the subject, but perhaps they will lead to some additional media reporting on the subject.
