QCityMetro reporter Kylie Marsh sent in a request for persons to contact her who are interested in commenting on west side crime issues in the context of Police Chief Johnny Jennings’ comments this week that department vacancies need to be filled and that the N.C. Raise the Age Act and low bail/bond amounts contribute to juvenile crime. “I’d like to speak to community members about their concerns for crime in the area and if they believe collaboration with police is a solution to those issues.” Marsh can be reached by e-mail or at (919) 491-6302.
