Steve Johnston reminds Forum participants of a limited-time-commitment opportunity to serve the Forum by volunteering to help determine the awarding of grants from the Forum’s MJ Entrepreneurial Action Fund. More information is here about how to contribute to the fund, to volunteer to be on the grants committee, and to nominate groups and individuals for grants.

Attentive Care Counseling will hold an open house and project to feed and clothe the homeless from 5108 Reagan Dr. on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m.

Larken Egleston announced that Mecklenburg Young Democrats would hear from Public Defender Toussaint Romain about his peacekeeper efforts between protesters and police during September’s uptown protests.
