Kathleen Evans announced the near-completion of a ATT-Dell “Connected Learning Center” to help people “complete schoolwork, apply for jobs, research colleges, find housing, manage healthcare, and communicate with loved ones.” Announced in April, Evans said the souped-up computer lab, training and workforce development site is scheduled to formally open at the Urban League, 740 W 5th St., the week of Oct. 6. Carrie Nelson passed along information on a clinical study of a new flu vaccine. Nelson’s note here details here. The Forum takes no position on the safety or efficacy of this clinical research.
