Paula Rinnix distributed a community survey seeking residents’ thoughts about “what is needed in the next Chief of Police.” Paper copies may be mailed to: City of Charlotte Human Resources, 700 E. 4th Street, Suite 200 Charlotte, NC 28202; Attention: Tracy Swett. The online survey is here. Ken Koontz announced the funeral for Beverly Cureton will be Thursday, Feb. 27, visitation at 11 a.m., service at noon, Friendship MIssionary Baptist Church, 3400 Beatties Ford Rd.
