Carlenia Ivory-Cantey announced that, with schools opening Monday, 100,000 of 141,000 CMS students are not yet signed into a new database called Infinite Campus. “It’s not that they cannot go to school, but it will be chaotic” if they are not registered in advance. Begin here.

Michelle Moore passed on an announcement that Black Women’s Leadership Collective North Carolina and Emerge Action Fund will host a series of trainings from September through January for Black women wanting to run for office. More information here in second item. Apply here.
