As of Thursday, April 30, North Carolina’s stay-at-home order remains in effect through May 8. Mecklenburg’s order has been lifted, and some previous orders on Realtors, car dealerships and funerals have eased. Parking lots at the parks will reopen today. The ban on groups of 10 or more people remains in effect. Park playgrounds and indoor park facilities remain closed. High contact sports like basketball, soccer, volleyball and softball/baseball are still prohibited.
