First-term Congressman Jeff Jackson announced he would run next year for N.C. Attorney General. The new 14th Congressional District, in his view, has been redrawn out from under him by the N.C. General Assembly. No one in the audience this morning questioned his assessment.

In his visit, then, he responded to a question about the House Speaker episode and elaborated on the U.S. debt load challenge, but focused instead on questions that he might face as Attorney General.
