McKinsey outlines challenges faced by Latinos in U.S.

February 21, 2022 Forum & Commentary

Feb. 21, 2022

Global consulting firm McKinsey & Company is known for its wide-ranging studies of just about everything. As part of its focus on diversity issues, the firm in December issued a report titled “The Economic State of Latinos in America: The American Dream Deferred.’’ The report focuses on barriers both immigrant and U.S.-born Latinos face on the way toward claiming their proportional share of American job success, wealth and security.

While some of the comparisons are between Latinos and Blacks, most of the Latino challenges are compared to data for non-Hispanic whites.

USAToday published a story based on the study on Jan. 10. See it here.
