Sarah Stevenson was among the Charlotteans named today to QCityMetro’s annual feature, “The Great 28.”

The feature, sponsored this year by Lowe’s, is in its second year. The 2021 list is here.

From Alma Adams to Fred Whitfield, the 2022 list includes civic leaders, the mayor, successful entrepreneurs – and young people just starting out with the aim of making a difference in their community.

Publisher Glenn Burkins writes that the list is a celebration of Black History Month, spotlighting “28 Black Charlotteans – one for each day in February – who are helping in a positive way to shape our emerging city.”
