In the second of two Forum meetings to hear from CMS school board candidates, two of the 13 candidates on the Nov. 5 ballot attended. Annette Albright and Elyse Dashew attended today. Queen Thompson, Monty Witherspoon, Jordan Pineda, Stephanie Sneed, Lenora Shipp, Jennifer De La Jara and Donna Parker-Tate spoke at the Sept. 17 Forum. Gregory R. Denlea, Jenna Moorehead, Olivia Scott and Duncan St. Clair did not attend either event.

In response to a question about an African-American studies curriculum in high schools, Dashew sent in a “scope of study” document from CMS Chief Academic Officer Brian Kingsley.
