Tuesday’s presenters explained the work of Changed Choices. It’s a nonprofit working in a space where recidivism rates are very high. They say the recidivism rate of the women they work with is very low. How come?
Former FBI victim witness specialist Juanita Miller was looking for a prison ministry after she retired. Karen Kovach is now executive director of the effort begun by Ruth Snyder in 1999 and incorporated as a nonprofit in 2005.
