Dec. 6, 2016

After a presentation by representatives of two Charlotte charter high schools operated by the same Florida-based company, facilitator Karen Gipson called elected officials in the room to the front for a report.

There was, of course, news. Trevor Fuller had lost his chairmanship of the county board just hours before. Gov. Pat McCrory had conceded to Gov.-Elect Roy Cooper. And lots more.

In the embedded livestream video from the meeting, the elected officials’ comments begin at minute 56:25.
