Two representatives from a north Mecklenburg group that has been raising questions about the state proposal to contract with a Spanish company to widen and then operate toll lanes on I-77 made a presentation to the Forum Tuesday.

Sharon Hudson and Craig Winegardner passed out a a flier. Their presentation follows an Aug. 5 presentation by N.C. Transportation Division 10 Director of Outreach and Community Affairs Warren Cooksey that touched on the controversy.

– In an Oct. 8 e-mail, he shared comments he said he passed on to Charlotte City Council after that body raised questions about congestion created by the toll lanes’ links to I-277.
