Robin Emmons announced she had met signature requirements to run as an unaffiliated candidate for City Council District 3 on the Nov. 4 ballot.

Yvette Townsend-Ingram announced, misleadingly, that the Nov. 4 transit tax referendum would allow voters “to decide whether or not you want to give one penny so we can provide infrastructure….”

County Commissioner Townsend-Ingram announced that the window for applications for appointment to the Metropolitan Public Transportation Authority closes Oct. 13. The Authority would be created if the transit tax referendum is approved by voters. Apply here.
