Brandon Lunsford sent in an announcement of listening sessions and survey in support of a project to create digital reconstructions of Charlotte’s African-American neighborhoods lost to urban renewal or gentrification. See July 12 and July 26 below.

City of Charlotte’s Civic Leadership Academy is taking applications through Aug. 1 for its fall class. Virtual sessions are 6 p.m. for 2-3 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Application here.
