With reports of icy streets in the Belmont Center area, facilitators on Monday decided to cancel the in-person meeting for Feb. 3. The day was to begin a monthlong series commemorating the 100th year of Black History Month.

Winston Robinson, who designed the series, asked for a virtual meeting this morning to share with the Forum some of how the first two parts of the series would be covered on Feb. 10. His comments are below.

Other discussion from that virtual meeting, which delved into events and people central to the Black history Charlotte-Mecklenburg, will be excerpted in a separate video and will be linked here when it is posted.
