The five candidates for Charlotte mayor in the Sept. 9 Democratic primary spoke of their backgrounds and their goals for service as mayor, then answered questions.

Addressing the Forum were Jaraun (Gemini) Boyd, Delter Kenny Guin III, current Mayor Vi Lyles, Brendan K. Maginnis, and Dr. Tigress Sydney Acute McDaniel.
