2024 March 5 Primary

March 5, 2024 Candidates & Ballots

– Page last updated March 18, 2024 based on Elections Board revisions of March 8 and March 15

The State Board of Elections reports unofficial election results in real time on Election Night for Mecklenburg voters here.

This page carries vote counts only in Mecklenburg. That means that a top vote-getter in Mecklenburg may not have been elected to a seat filled in part by voters in precincts outside Mecklenburg. The page is linked to the Forum’s “Articles by Name” archive, which allows future website readers to find references to a candidate’s prior bids for public office.

On a smartphone, table is most easily read in landscape (horizontal) orientation. Unlock portrait (vertical) orientation on most devices by swiping down from top of screen.

Mecklenburg precincts will be involved in the May 14 second primary to settle two GOP contests: Lieutenant Governor and State Auditor.

* “Winner” column includes: ✔ for primary winner; M for Mecklenburg’s top vote-getter if they were not primary winner; and P2 for candidates involved in a second primary on May 14.
