2024 March 5 Primary Election

December 17, 2023 Candidates & Ballots

Below is a table showing candidates who filed for Mecklenburg offices by the Dec. 15, 2023 deadline. The March 5, 2024 primary will include only those who face opposition within their own party. Those names are highlighted below in bold type. There are no contested races for Mecklenburg judge seats, either in the primary or general elections.

The summary below does not include candidates for federal and state offices during the March 5 primary. Here is a downloadable full list of people whose names will be on a ballot in one or another precinct ballot in Mecklenburg County.
