The U.S. Justice Department today issued a document outlining findings and recommendations from its “Investigation of the City of Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Police Department.”

The two-year investigation began following Derek Chauvin’s conviction in the 2020 murder of George Floyd. “Our federal investigation focused on the police department as a whole, not the acts of any one officer,” the DOJ report says.
The report is sobering reading and is made available here in the PDF format in which it was released for current and future reference. The report does not make any reference to Charlotte.
