Whither Charlotte-Mecklenburg?

January 1, 2023 Forum & Commentary

Jan. 1, 2023

The following were published as a series in the “Recently at the Forum” space on the front of the Forum website during the post-holiday period, Jan. 1-Jan. 10, when the Forum did not meet. A series named “Happy Holidays” was published in that space Dec. 19-31.

True, it is relatively easy to identify a few problems that need solving in Charlotte-Mecklenburg; the hard part is in the details. Which is why it might be so valuable for residents to begin the year taking an issue or two like the ones below and thinking through those details. Consider it a New Year’s Resolution on fitness for civic engagement.
