Vakala outlines a ‘cultural strategy’ to undergird action for change

Vakala thinks deeply about culture, and how most people allow themselves to be defined by whatever culture they join or find themselves in.

One of his examples this morning: On 9/11, he says he saw most of his African-American friends on the UNC Chapel Hill campus consider the attack on the Twin Towers as an attack on them, on their country. Vakala’s reaction, well, let him explain.
