Marc Friedland took over a Mecklenburg Democratic Party this summer that was without an office. And that might have been one of its less daunting problems.
Friedland spoke today at the Forum to reinvigorate volunteers and set out some of his thinking about how to proceed. The video material posted below makes clear that he is leaning on the Hagan for Senate operation for all get-out-the-vote efforts for November, and instead will concentrate on early voting, the party’s voter guide and on volunteers to observe precincts on Election Day.
The two videos posted below capture Friedland’s presentation and the portions of a Q&A that followed that were directed to Friedland. Sharing the presenters’ table with Friedland were two CMS officials.
