That huge medal on display in the West Charlotte Recreation Center? Forum participant Ken Koontz hauled the thing into the Forum meeting today, with facility manager Calandra Barnes in tow. In the video below she explains the award honoring the work of the entire Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation Department.
