Morgan West was announced May 17 as the 12th District winner in the 2026 Congresssional Art Competition.

Wnen the art contest competition display at the Mint Museum Uptown ends June 7, West’s work will become part of the 11-month installation in the “Cannon Tunnel that leads into the U.S. Capitol – a path frequented by Members of Congress, staff, and visitors from around the world. With millions passing by the exhibit each year, it is one of the most-viewed art installations in the country,” according to U.S. Rep. Alma Adams’ office.
