Forum facilitators this morning sat down at the presenters’ table. and offered their reflections on why they volunteer reliably at the Forum, what their particular focus is in sustaining the group, and what it means to them.

Some have been at the forum only a few years. One has been in and out of Forum meetings for 40-plus years. Many described Sarah Stevenson’s impact on their views on how to support a sense of community in Charlotte. All appeared intent on welcoming additional people who would like to help sustain this singular voice in Charlotte.

Video note: Maybe it was the chilly weather or something else, but early during the meeting the Belmont Center cameras were not moving properly. To avoid losing the video signal, the camera in use was left pointed where it was, even as new people began speaking. The audio was not affected.
