Incoming CMS superintendent introduces himself

CMS Board of Education Chairperson Mary McCray brought oncoming CMS Supt. Dr. Clayton Wilcox to the Forum this morning, where she introduced him and then he offered some words about himself.

As Observer reporter Ann Doss Helms noticed,  instead of immediately departing after his speech ended at 8:48, Wilcox stayed in the room to hear most of a presentation about Black Lives Matters programs staged by the Charlotte Post Foundation. Wilcox ultimately left the room at 9:29 a.m.
