Anthony Foxx today resigned as Mayor of Charlotte. Our thanks to Ken Koontz for video from the City Council meeting.
Following Foxx’s resignation, the Charlotte City Council named one of its own, Patsy Kinsey, to fill the last months of Foxx’s term.
