'Let's Have A Talk'

Queen Thompson, above, addressed the Forum today about "Let's Have A Talk," an effort to organize a communitywide discussion to teach adults and children alike "about arrest and public behavior and the possible serious consequences." Among her handouts: a Let's Have A Talk brochure; a letter outlining the project; and a flyer announcing a steering committee to launch the project. The steering committee's first meeting was scheduled for Saturday, Jan.16.

During the Forum, Superior Court Judge Yvonne Mims Evans spoke up about the defendants she sees in court.
