Denise Watts on Project L.I.F.T.

Denise Watts, who last school year was a top administrator in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, was recently named to lead Project L.I.F.T., a foundation-backed effort to raise student achievement at West Charlotte High School and its elementary and middle feeder schools.

On Tuesday, Watts addressed the Forum. Her introductory comments are below, in two parts.
