Watt reports on health care, prospects for bipartisan cooperation in D.C.

U.S. Rep. Mel Watt returned to the Tuesday Morning Breakfast Tuesday to talk about health care. In answer to questions he explained his support for recording artist to be paid by radio stations airing their work. He said he would not support tax breaks for private education that he felt would erode the public school systems of the nation. He answered a reporter's question on the Iraq and Afghan wars, and offered a prediction that Congress would indeed have on President Obama's desk some form of health care reform by the end of the year.

And he offered an explanation of why local elections this November, and state elections in 2010, are vital to the interests of local, state and national voters.
