Retired educator publishes Christmas story for all who believe in Santa

Martha Gamble Hall was a school principal, and she knows the techniques to hold the attention of young children.

Those techniques worked well on older folk as well on Tuesday as Hall read "A Note From Santa," which she has just published.

The children's book designed for children aged 4 through primary school is available at Amazon for $10.99.

The story packs a moral punch about being good. Its characters have names like "Sister" and "Brother" and the drawings, Hall said, are mostly designed to be multicultural and multi-ethnic.

Hall had some advice on how to read books to children. Listen to that advice. You may need to click the start button below twice.

Now listen to the author read her book. You may need to click the start button twice.

The Forum welcomes all persons to its meetings beginning at 8 a.m. most Tuesdays of the year
