N.C. Senate primaries

Three of the four candidates in May 8 primaries for the N.C. Senate District 38 seat being vacated by Charlie Dannelly addressed the Forum today.

In the Democratic primary, Dannelly remains on the ballot but has endorsed Joel Ford. The third candidate, Jamison Lawson, did not participate Tuesday.

On the Republican side, Richard Rivette and James Soder are on the ballot. The Charlotte Observer's editorialsts declined to recommend either candidate.
