Sheriff, DA candidates answer questions

Tuesday's Forum brought together both candidates for Mecklenburg County Sheriff, the Democratic candidate for District Attorney, and a representative of his GOP opponent.

The sheriff candidates are incumbent Chipp Bailey and GOP challenger Christopher Hailey.

Democratic DA candidate Michael Barnes was present. His GOP opponent, Andrew Murray, was in court in Concord Tuesday morning, and sent to represent him the executive director of is campaign, lawyer Larry Shaheen.

All four made initial comments, then participants in the Forum asked questions.
