Representatives of two agencies addressed the Forum April 14. Terry Ellington
heads the local HIV/AIDS Consortium. Trish Hobson is director of development for
the Emergency Winter Shelter. Hobson asked members of the audience to invite her
to other groups so she could share the mission and needs of the shelter.
Ellington spoke about AIDS prevention and awareness, but also said that the
Consortium is reviewing its role in the community and might change its name and
mission.

at the West Charlotte Recreation Center, 2222 Kendall Drive, Charlotte, NC
down the hill from West Charlotte High School.
