CMS Supt. Frances Haithcock attended the Forum Tuesday to thank Forum

trying not to make any decisions on what I am going to be doing" after June

remains "a missionary about public education" and guessed she would be
"working to some extent with some districts." She said Charlotte would
remain her home.
Haithcock said she would leave the Forum early to meet with teachers at
Nations Ford Elementary, where students achieved a 47-point gain on EOG
scores over last year. University Park Elementary saw a 37-point gain, and
another handful of schools saw 20-point gains. "Dont ever say we can't do it
with our children," she said. High school scores would rise some but "not as

it happen."
